Hinge is always looking for people who are passionate about community-led design .

As a member of the Hinge team you will…

  • Design parks and public spaces with communities with full landscape architecture services from concept design to construction administration.

  • Develop and implement engagement strategy for environmental and urban planning that puts communities in control of their own environments. 

  • Design and host events that build relationships.

  • Participate in large scale urban design and planning projects.

  • Connect with and support  local community support organizations to realize place-making/place-keeping projects.

We are looking to grow our team with individuals that have a wide range of skills and experiences. The most important qualities in a new team member will be a healthy curiosity about people and places, a passion for public places, and an eagerness to learn and share. We encourage you to apply even if you do not currently have all of the skills or experience listed below.

Key skills include:

  • Landscape design at all skill levels

  • Urban planning

  • Graphic design and data visualization

  • Community organizing and outreach

  • Qualitative data analysis
