Projects on the boards:

Mifflin Square Park and Neighborhood Plan

Hinge Collective is part of the design team to re-imagine the Mifflin Square park plan and create a design that accommodates the needs, dreams, and responsibilities of the neighborhood. This plan will also determine strategies to support existing businesses and attract new investment to South 7th Street while preserving and developing the community in a changing economy, including affordable housing and gentrification mitigation. The goal is to keep organized communities as a central link between planning process and future realities.

Frankford Pause

The Frankford Pause is the name of an exciting park coming to the intersection of Frankford Avenue and Paul Street. This unique space will create a new hub of community activity and a destination within the city. As a flexible open space with a performance stage, open lawn, and a vegetable garden, the park will serve as a venue for gatherings and celebrations. Acknowledging the sounds of the passing elevated train as well as the sounds of visitors, the space will be treated as an interactive art environment. With the incorporation of components built by residents and neighbors, this attention-grabbing park aims to be a source of pride for Frankford residents.
